Warrnambool is expecting a top of 23 degrees, Hamilton 25, Ararat 27, Casterton 26, Mortlake 25, Heywood 22, Portland 21, Port Fairy 22, Terang 23 and Camperdown 22.
A slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea will extend a strong ridge south of Victoria until at least Friday, while a low pressure trough lingers over the west Tasman Sea.
Another low pressure trough will develop over western Victoria during Friday before moving eastwards across the state during Saturday.
A strong cold front moving across the Bight associated with a deepening low in the Southern Ocean is forecast to reach far western Victoria late on Sunday.
On Friday Warrnambool is expecting a top of 23, 24 on Saturday, 22 on Sunday and 15 on Monday.
