A slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea will extend a strong ridge south of Victoria until at least Friday, while a low pressure trough lingers over the west Tasman Sea.
Another low pressure trough will develop over western Victoria during Friday before moving eastwards across the state during Saturday.
For the rest of the week Warrnambool is expecting a top of 21 on Thursday, 23 on Friday, 26 on Saturday and 21 on Sunday.
