Today will be cloudy across the south-west with drizzle in the morning.
There will be light winds becoming southerly 20 to 25 km/h in the early afternoon then tending south-easterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening.
Warrnambool is expecting a top of 23 degrees, Hamilton 27, Colac 24, Ararat 28, Casterton 29, Mortlake 26, Heywood 24, Portland 22, Port Fairy 22, Terang 23 and Camperdown 23.
A slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea will extend a strong ridge south of Victoria until at least Friday, while a low pressure trough lingers over the west Tasman Sea.
Another low pressure trough will develop over western Victoria during Friday before moving eastwards across the state during Saturday.
For the rest of the week Warrnambool is expecting a top of 21 on Thursday, 23 on Friday, 26 on Saturday and 21 on Sunday.
