After hours of intricate stitchwork and delicate attention to detail, the members will take a step back and welcome the community to appreciate their efforts.
The Embroiderers Guild Victoria South Western Branch's biennial exhibition will be held this weekend.
This year's event will include 180 pieces.
"It's a labour of love but we're always happy when the doors are finally open," club president Lorraine Blackmore said.
"Each member has their own style and there is something for everyone."
This year's theme, Out of the Blue, will see a touch of colour to some of the delicate pieces.
Mrs Blackmore said the exhibition will also include crewel work by a member who recently undertook a master class.
"When she returned she said that a lot of the work produced by our members is really world-class," she said.
Once again the group have a surprise to be unveiled at the opening event on Friday.
"We can't say what it is but it has taken hours and hours to create and we're certain it will be appreciated."
The event will be held at the Masonic Centre on Kepler Street Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
