A motorist caught with drugs and stolen number plates after allegedly speeding at 152km/h near Portland has been granted strict conditional bail.

Daniel Lyons, 22, of Ramsay Road, Yendon, south-east of Ballarat, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Jon Klestadt said the prosecution case was neither overwhelming or weak.
He said some of the charges were likely to be contested and if there were delays, Mr Lyons could spend more time in custody on remand than he would receive.
Mr Lyons was granted bail with strict conditions include he not associate with a co-accused, provide a $250 surety, abide by a 10pm to 6am curfew, not drive a motor vehicle, not do drugs and take part in the court integrated services program.
Police allege Mr Lyons was detected travelling at 152km/h on the Portland-Nelson Road at 11.20pm last Saturday.
He evaded police who were forced to abandon the pursuit for safety reasons.
Portland police then received a call about 2am concerning a suspicious man at the Nelson boat ramp, whose car had significant front-end damage. Officers arrived at 3.15am and the vehicle was vacant.
The court heard Mr Lyons was later found seated in the vehicle with a co-accused at a Portland beach.
A search of the vehicle located four deal bags of meth amphetamine, drug paraphernalia and stolen number plates. Officers also located a number of tools believed to be stolen from Ballarat businesses.
Heywood Police Sergeant Callum McKinnon said there was a dispute over who was driving the vehicle, which belonged to a female co-accused. He said the woman told police she was the one driving.
She was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
