Key forward Korewha, 20, was selected for the Cats' development squad, while 21-year-old midfielder Gow earned a spot on the senior list. The pair's feeder club will remain as Koroit.
The pair join former Hampden league players in Terang Mortlake's Scott Carlin (Werribee), South Warrnambool's Paddy Anderson (Box Hill), North Warrnambool Eagles' Dion Johnstone (Port Melbourne) and Warrnambool brothers Matt and Tom Schnerring (Williamstown) on VFL lists.
Korewha said his overall goal for the season was to earn a senior game with the club. But his current focus was to learn as much as he possibly could.
"The main thing for me is learning the structures with the goal of cracking into the senior side," he said.
"I've been working a lot on my craft with them and focusing on my forward work and develop as much as I can and hopefully it gets me a gig in the senior side."
The Ballarat-based player, who is in his third year studying at Federation University, is feeling positive heading into a new season after getting through pre-season almost unscathed.
"Feel like I'm in better shape than I have been for a while because it's the first time I haven't been in the rehab group," he said.
"The only injury was a concussion a few weeks back where I had a week or two off training. So I have done pretty much a full pre-season."
