We asked some Port Fairy Folk Festival regulars who their favourite performers were from the weekend.
Louise Chow, Warrnambool
I thought Melanie was great, she had great humour and I love the way she writes her songs.
She had the crowd in the palm of her hand within seconds.
Kasey Chambers was wonderful of course and I loved the Vandemonian Lags. There was a lot of variety in the show, great performers and the stories were so interesting.
Martina Murrihy, Port Fairy
Stephen Pigram was fantastic, he is a guitarist from Broome.
Our Seaside Singers group sing some of his songs so it was nice to see him perform them.
He usually performs with his brother and he told some great stories of his family.
He was the fifth of 12 children and he told the story of how a couple of them, including him, went to live with their grandma down the road.
He sang a song about his grandma which was really nice.
Jeanette Toller-Bond, Port Fairy
In stage three on Sunday I saw Gaby Moreno. She had the best voice and she almost kissed the microphone when she sang.
She sang in both Spanish and English, she writes her own blues music and was encouraged to do so in both languages.
I hadn't heard of Gaby before I saw her so it was great to discover this new talent.
Caroline Moore, Port Fairy Folk Festival program director
Truly, I can not pick out a favourite, I was just so thrilled with all the performers, they were all outstanding.
The feedback we received from the punters was just so positive, everywhere I went throughout the festival people were talking about how much they enjoyed every act and the fact there was world-class music in all venues.
I got a lot of pleasure out of seeing some of the acts live for the very first time.
None of them disappointed, they all actually exceeded my expectations.
