Port Fairy's Evie Dalton,13, got the chance to play on Railway Stage on Sunday as part of the Songs in the Schools Project.
Evie sang three of her own songs and said she loved the experience.
"It was really cool, and I was really grateful to be given the opportunity," Evie said.
"I was a little bit nervous during the sound check but once I got on stage I was okay."
Evie started teaching herself to play the guitar before beginning lessons with music teacher Heidi Gass last year.
She is in year eight at Emmanuel College and is hoping to take part in the Kool Skools program this year.
Youth performers also shone on the Village Green on Sunday, with a Freeza stage.
