Business and Professional Women South West is proud of its many members and their achievements, including Dr Bridget Clancy who was recently nominated as a state finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards. The network's members run successful businesses and are skilled professionals; two are city councillors and one is our local member of parliament, some sit on local boards, others are involved in volunteer and charity work, and many are mothers and grandmothers running busy households.
Special dinner meetings are held to raise awareness of important events throughout the year
The group supports the community in various ways, including an annual donation to Emma House Domestic Violence Services and a three year scholarship to a female Warrnambool Deakin University student.
This October the club is hosting the biannual Victorian Club Forum, which unites members from other Victorian clubs for a weekend conference. Special dinner meetings are held to raise awareness of events throughout the year, such as International Women's Day, the Great South Coast Small Business Festival, and the BPW International Candle Lighting Ceremony.
