The South Western District Restoration Group member said the Cobden Vintage Rally 'has everything from tractors to hand tools, enough to fill 15 acres'.
"This year we've even got a model boat pond and a gold stamping machine built in 1850," he said.
The 43rd Rally and Vintage Tractor Pull regularly attracts a crowd of more than 800 Mr Cockayne said.
"We hold the event twice a year and the money raised at the gate goes toward cancer care at the Warrnambool hospital," he said.
This year's event will include sheep shearing, a blacksmiths demonstration, rock crushing, hay baling, shed displays and engine shows.
Stalls will also feature local produce and wares for sale, hot food and refreshments.
"There's even a guy selling clothing made out of alpaca wool," Mr Cockayne said.
One of the highlights of the day Mr Cockayne said is the auction to be held at 11am on Saturday and a tractor pulling event with 60 tractors dating back to 1925.
"There are some things here that haven't been used in the last 60 years," he said.
The Cobden Vintage Rally will be held at Racecourse Park Rally Ground in Cobden on Saturday and Sunday from 10am.
