Gleeson steered the Wildcats to a semi-final clean sweep over Brisbane Bullets on Saturday, giving him a chance to add to his three titles in charge of the competition powerhouse.
The Wildcats will meet either defending champion Melbourne United or the resurgent Sydney Kings in the best-of-five grand final series.
It will be Perth's 14th grand final series, providing it with a chance to win a ninth championship.
The Wildcats crushed Brisbane in Perth in game one on Thursday night, 89-59.
American import Bryce Cotton led the way with 22 points and NBL first-team big man Nick Kay proved a handful with a double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds).
They were forced to work harder in game two in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon, winning a nail-biter 84-79.
American Terrico White top-scored with 24 points with Cotton (21) and Kay (16 and 15 boards) also playing crucial roles.
