Markets: The Port Fairy Community Market is on at Railway Place from 9am to 1pm. The Terang Community Market is on from 9am to 1pm.
Resilience: The Kardinia Church in Warrnambool is hosting the Resilient Kids Conference from 9am to 4pm.
Run: The Timboon ParkRun weekly timed run is on. Meet at the town's skate park at 7.50am.
Cool movie: The Lismore Swimming Pool is hosting a movie night from 5pm to 10.30pm. The family-friendly event includes a dumpling van and a slushie van, kids activities, a jumping castle and a family movie at dusk.
Detox: Unwanted household chemicals can be dumped at the annual Detox Your Home event at the Warrnambool Livestock Exchange, on Caramut Road, from 9am until 3pm.
Music: Suffoir Winery, Brewery and Cellar Door is hosting Music in the Vines from 11am to 11pm. Macarthur's fourth annual family-friendly event includes live music, food stalls, wine, beer and cider tastings, kids activities, a free shuttle and free camping.
Bingo: The Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club is hosting Saturday Night Bingo from 7pm.
Bowls: The City Memorial Bowls Club is hosting its monthly Bottomless Brunch and Bowls morning from 10am to 12 noon.
Rodeo: The Branxholme Rodeo is on at the Branxholme Wallacedale Football Netball Club on Saturday. Gates open at 4pm rodeo begins at 6.30pm.
Trivia: The Allansford Cricket Club is hosting Gator's Trivia Night from 7.30pm.

SUNDAY
Markets: The Fresh Market is on at Lake Pertobe with goodies including fruit and vegetables, jam, candles, coffee, cakes and bread from 7.30am to 12 noon. The Camperdown Rotary Market is on from 9am to 2pm.
Swim: The Warrnambool Masters Swimming Club is hosting an open event from 7am. Swimmers are invited to challenge themselves to complete a distance and time at Aquazone.
Triathlon: The Killarney Foreshore Triathlon event starts at 9am on Sunday.
Cars: Cars and Coffee Warrnambool are inviting car enthusiasts to a social event at the Flying Horse Brewery on Sunday from 9am to 12 midday.
Music: Behind the Walls musical concert, Christ Church, Henna Street, from 2pm.
Paddle: Warrnambool will join a national paddle out day for Fight for the Bight on Saturday. Community members are invited to join the protest against oil drilling in the Great Australian Bight by paddling out into the water at the Breakwater or making noise on the pier from 12 noon to 1pm.
Climb: Mount Elephant is open to the public from 1pm to 4pm.
