It wasn't all roses for a Colac woman arrested for being drunk at the Heywood Wood, Wine and Roses Festival.

Portland police Sergeant Sean Elliot said a 45-year-old Colac woman was arrested at the festival about 4.30pm on Saturday.
"She was being drunk and aggressive at the event and has been arrested and lodged in the police cells," he said.
"She will be issued a penalty notice for being drunk in a public place and released once she has sobered up."
The 26th annual Heywood Wood, Wine and Roses Festival kicked off at 11am on Saturday and includes a side-show alley, tractor pull, live music, magicians, highland dancing, arts and crafts and a reptile show.
Together with wine tasting, petting zoo a circus, cut flowers and motorbikes.
The event will run until 11pm tonight.
