This time the Hamilton export received the top award at the VIC Sport Awards on Wednesday night - the Victorian Female Athlete of the Year.
The 28-year-old secured Australia's first table tennis gold medal in the Women's singles TT6-10 at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in April last year.
Tapper, who represented Australia at the Rio Olympics, was overwhelmed with emotion when she took to social media to express her thanks upon receiving the honour.
"Thank you Governor Linda Dessau and the Vic Sport Team for this incredible honour," the Olympian said.
"Can’t quite fathom just yet being named alongside the likes of Cathy Freeman, Kim Brennan and Kirstie Marshall for this award.
"Table Tennis continues to give me amazing opportunities, and it only seems to get better. Thanks to my legendary team and supporters."
Tapper was named alongside follow World Champion and Winter Olympic bronze medallist Scotty James, who was awarded the Male Athlete of the Year.
