Tylah Jordyn Merriman, 24, of Warwick Place, Warrnambool, pleaded guilty in Warrnambool Magistrates Court to affray, property damage, unlawful assault and being drunk in a public place. He was fined $1000 and placed on a 12 month community corrections order.
Magistrate Franz Holzer said the community had "had enough" of Merriman's behaviour.
"It is very unattractive and disrespectful in a whole series of ways," he said.
On December 15, 2017, Merriman damaged the Warrnambool RSL war memorial by grabbing a concrete rifle from a statue's hands and breaking it off.
He placed the rifle on the ground and used the hood of his jumper to conceal his face.
Merriman was interviewed in relation to the damage on January 24. He made full admissions, stating he had been drinking, was wonky on his feet and that the concrete rifle had cracked before falling onto the ground.
The damage to the statue was estimated at $4000 but restitution was sought.
Mr Holzer said the damage was disgusting.
"To disrespect those who served our country and lost their lives... is shameful," he said.
"It is beyond words. It is disgusting, there is no other word to describe it."
Then on April 19, 2018, Merriman approached a group of men waiting for a taxi on Liebig Street about 3am.
He asked one of the victim's what he was looking at before pushing him in the face with both palms.
He grabbed a second victim by the dreadlocks before punching him to the right side of the face, causing his lip to split.
Then on August 5 last year, Merriman was at Warrnambool's Apco service station with two co-accused, aged 16 and 17.
To disrespect those who served our country and lost their lives is shameful.
- Magistrate Franz Holzer
Police said two victims, both aged 17, attended the service station and were waiting for a taxi.
The co-accuseds starting yelling at the victims, who got into a taxi and left the premises.
Merriman and the co-accuseds jumped into another vehicle and began following the taxi. The victims were scared so asked the taxi to take them back to Apco where there were cameras.
Upon returning to the service station, Merriman accused one of the victims of hitting his girlfriend and pushed him up against a window before hitting him five times in the face.
The group moved into the store and Merriman grabbed the second victim by the collar, causing his shirt to rip, and headbutted him in the mouth.
