The Terang-based team is set to field two trikes in CASEY 6HR race in the Victorian Human Powered Vehicle Grand Prix Series event at Casey Fields on March 2.
The A team will be made up of Bowen, Lachie Meade, Josh McMinn, Charlotte Abbott, Tyler Smith and Tom Anderson.
In the B team is James Aitkin, Adam Rowe, Chloe Anderson Harrison Smith, Isabella Pocone, Steve Cobden, Ben Dennis and Matthew McClelland.
The teams will try to complete as many laps of the 1.6-kilometre course in six hours of racing, with riders taking turns controlling Crank It Racing's two vehicles out on the track
Kemp, 21, highlighted the A-team's evenness as a key asset in its search for victory, after finishing second in the community mixed class and 12th overall in last year's event.
"This year we have stepped it up a notch. Previously we had people that did the most work and it was more about getting people involved in the team," he said.
"We stepped it up this year and time-trialed 90 per cent of our riders and I say all of our six riders are as good as each other and we are going to be quicker than we were last year.
"There is not much different between the best and the worst rider everyone is bang on the same speed and there will be very few people who will fall behind in the A team.
"So we are hoping to finish top 10 overall, unless we have a crash, and first or second in the class but we are aiming to get the victory."
Kemp, who is also a part owner of the tricycles with Aitkin and Rowe, said both teams would be looking to build form ahead of a big trip to Western Australia later in the year.
He said Crank It Racing was aiming to compete in a six-hour race at the UNISA Australian HPV Super Series in Busselton in August.
