There were already showers in Warrnambool by 7am.
Winds will be west to north-westerly 15 to 20 km/h tending south-westerly 20 to 25 km/h later in the morning then becoming light in the evening.

A ridge of high pressure extends across the Bight and southern Victoria, directing a southwesterly air flow over the state.
A cold front crossing the Southern Ocean with reach far southwest Victoria late Wednesday then move through Bass Strait Wednesday night.
On Thursday a high pressure system will move from waters south of the Bight to be centred just south-west of Victoria, then drift slowly southwards on Friday, passing south of Tasmania over the weekend.
On Wednesday Warrnambool is expecting a top temperature of 20 degrees, 19 on Thursday, 21 on Friday, 24 Saturday and on Sunday 30.
