Sungold Field Days chairman Tony Rea said some exhibitors would walk away from this year's event with their contact books full of names.
"This year was one of those years," he said.
"There were certainly more sales this year than last year."
While exhibitors enjoyed a prosperous event, thousands of people flocked to this year's agricultural showcase at Allansford.
"The first day, which was free, was one of the best attendances ever at the Field Days," Mr Rea said.
He said he had received positive feedback from people who had attended the event.
Numerous exhibitors reported a busy day one at the Field Days.
But Mr Rea said some exhibitors had told him they had their best day of sales on the third day.
He said this could be because buyers take time to browse different products on the first two days of the event.
He said there was a positive feeling among farmers at the moment.
"It looks the milk price is on the way up so farmers are optimistic," he said.
