A 73-69 win over City Memorial Green in the last round on Tuesday has Gold in second place on the ladder at the end of the home-and-away season.
Gold player Karina Ellery, who was a member of last season’s premiership side, is happy with her team’s position.
“We will all pull together and try our best and see what happens,” Ellery said.
“Anything can happen in finals so it all starts again.”
Ellery takes plenty of experience into the finals, having played bowls for 38 years.
Warrnambool Gold finished on top of the ladder after defeating fourth-placed Terang Gold 63-58 on Tuesday.
Third-placed Port Fairy Gold tuned up for the finals with a 84-64 win over Mortlake Blue.
Koroit Orange finished the season in fifth place, winnings its final game against Timboon Maroon 86-58.
Sixth-placed Lawn Tennis Green ended the season on a high, defeating Dennington Red 71-66.
