Last Sunday, Templeton travelled to Melbourne to take charge of a country Victoria under 16 team that played a trial match against Vic metro.
Among his team was Brierly-Christ Church’s Campbell Love, who made 51 off 68 balls.
In the under 14 game, Merrivale’s Flynn Wilkinson and West Warrnambool’s Noah Dawson played.
Flynn made 12 and Noah took 2-15.
