About 15 people undertook this year’s Milk Run at Warrnambool’s Wunta Fiesta Big Breakfast.
Fiesta organiser Donna Gladman said more than 500 people attended the event at Civic Green.
“It was a really good atmosphere,” she said.
“People are really supportive of the breakfast here.”
“And everyone enjoyed their brekkie which is what we want.”
Brauer College year 11 student Maddi Mahony-Gilchrist was the winner of the Milk Run and she took home a $150 restaurant voucher.
The 16-year-old said she enjoyed being part of the competition.
“It was good fun,” she said.
“I thought going slow would be best.”
Miss Mahony-Gilchrist wasn’t the fastest across the finish line but she had the most milk left in her cup.
Caitin Kavanagh from Warrnambool watched the Milk Run.
She said she was at the breakfast from 8am.
“It was good to catch up with friends and be a part of a community event,” she said.
“I really enjoyed it.”
Warrnambool’s Andrew Taylor said he also enjoyed the breakfast.
“It’s great and a good event for the community,” he said.
