Over the years the Sungold Field Days has grown to become one of Victoria’s premier agricultural events and we are proud to showcase such a vast range of agricultural machinery and the latest in dairy innovations.
The Western District of Victoria and South East South Australia have just experienced one of the best seasons ever. It is wonderful how nature works. Hay, silage, dairy, beef and sheep have had a great year. Farmers should be very optimistic about the future and always be on the lookout for new technology that may assist their farming enterprise, many of which can be found at this event.
Dairy as always has a great future in this part of the country. The demand for dairy is always increasing, and Dairy is one of the most important foods in the food Chain. Our service industries are always there to support agriculture, and the Field Days is a perfect opportunity for dairy industry suppliers to speak directly with the farmers local to the region. Farmers are always sure to find a Sungold Field Days bargain.
The 2019 event will have a full entertainment program for all three days, complementing the range of exhibits on show. Entertainment will include a music stage with local talent Michael Ferguson, Kayla Dwyer and Ben Cross.
The Western District Axemen are returning by popular demand with wood chopping demonstrations three times a day in the food court. On our cooking stage you can learn how to prepare your favourite dishes from the Pavillion Café with local chef Chris Considine presenting daily, along with Mornington Peninsula chef Tim Hollands.
Returning for 2019 the Sungold Field Days, the dinner will be held on Thursday February 14 at the Lady Bay Resort with guest speaker Kenyan boxer Brian Agina and Warrnambool coach Rudy Ryan. The dinner is held in support of the Leila Rose Foundation, raising much needed funds to support local children battling rare childhood cancer.
