Mr McCosker, who started the event, said the 10th edition of the show, would have something for everyone.
Mr McCosker said the truck show would feature live music, camping, bar food, market stalls, a $1000 tug of war, as well as three motorbike stunts by TC Trickz.
There will also be plenty of kids’ entertainment on offer with a $20 wristband providing unlimited access to rides for the whole day.
“It's a great family-friendly day,” he said. “I've tried to keep the kids happy as well as the mums and dads.”
But Mr McCosker said to also watch out for the 50-metre “truckies sprint”.
“It's a pretty good sight seeing a few big fellas running at full pelt,” he said.
Mr McCosker said he was expecting more than 250 trucks to turn up with one coming from as far as Mackay, Queensland.
“This is the 10th year so it's a big one,” he said.
“We've got the last nine winners of the show coming back and they're all going to be on display.”
He said the annual show was the culmination of a year’s work by a five-person committee with “crucial” support from local sponsors and the trucking community.
“It's a great achievement and we've managed to give lots of money to charities like beyond blue, Peter's Project and Red Cross,” he said.
“This year the money will be going to Need for Feed, which helps drought-affected farmers.”
The show is at Victoria Park from 10am with presentations about 4pm.
