Club member Bryan Watt was the winner of the division three competition, with another local, Barbara Bastin, in second place.
Warrnambool’s Peter Blake was third in division two, behind Ruth Duffy (Corowa) and Joan Kelly (Norwood).
The division one competition was won by Bill Humphreys from Golden Square in Bendigo.
Warrnambool’s Peter Burke and Janelle Dunn finished fifth and sixth respectively.
Tournament manager and Warrnambool City Croquet Club manager Margaret Kelson said the three-day event had been a big success.
“We have had players from across Victoria and South Australia,” Kelson said.
“Our club has 30 members and everyone works hard to get this tournament going each year.
“The tournament is good for the economy, it brings people into Warrnambool.
“There is some good croquet played and it’s a great week socially.
“When you play tournaments around the place, you get to know a lot of the other players and it’s always good to catch up. And this tournament helps raise the profile of croquet, it’s a great sport.”
