Organisers Kerry Lee and Dianne Brown said the market’s popularity so far this year was astounding. “We were absolutely blown away by Friday,” Mrs Lee said.
“It would be the busiest market we’ve had. We had a number of traders say it was the biggest market and the food vendors said they were running out, which is just incredible.”
There are up to 130 stalls each week. “The whole thing’s got such a broad appeal. You can have your face painted or you can sit and have a glass of wine. It literally has something for everybody.”
There are two more markets remaining at Lake Pertobe this summer. The last one is on January 25.
