Warrnambool Police say the vehicle was heading west along Timor Street around 4pm when the driver alleges two vehicles pulled out in front of her at the roundabout on Kepler Street.
The two vehicles appear to have been travelling north along Kepler Street.
Senior Constable Amy Morel said the Barina had clipped curbside concrete bollards and outdoor furniture before coming to a stop at the foot of a tree at the entrance to the Comfort Inn Western.
Witnesses say it was very lucky there were no patrons drinking at the front of The Last Coach at the time.
Police closed Timor Street from Kepler Street to Fairy Street while the car was towed away.
Senior Constable Morel said a review of CBD camera footage would assist police with their investigation.
