Tour guide Claire Norman is giving people an insight into the stories behind the works that have the community talking.
Ms Norman said the summer walking tours are part of trial to see whether to continue having them throughout the year.
“We’re hoping to set up a regular pattern of walks so that anyone who is visiting in the town during the year can also come along,” she said.
“It would be great if we could keep this street art at the front of our minds and let everyone enjoy it.”
The tours are part of Warrnambool's BeachFest program and take a bit over an hour to complete.
The most recent tour attracted more than 20 people and there are more tours to come including this Saturday.
The guided street tours leave from Warrnambool Art Gallery at 10.50am with sessions this Saturday, Wednesday January 16 and Saturday January 19.
