Thieves have broken into the Warrnambool Golf Club overnight and stolen golf carts valued at $20,000.

Detective Senior Constable Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said unknown offenders gained entry to the Younger street golf club between 3am and 3.30am on Friday.
She said four golf carts were stolen.
“Access has been gained possibly through the rear of the actual golf course,” she said.
“Three of the buggies were recovered nearby. One has been damaged.
“The fourth remains outstanding.”
Senior Constable Smith said the golf carts were valued at approximately $5000 each.
She said investigations were ongoing.
