The National Gallery of Victoria Kids on Tour sessions have been a major success at the Warrnambool Art Gallery this summer.
The free program encourages children and families to get involved in art with free hands-on activities and workshops including the task to build a clay city.
Jenae Broomfield from Warrnambool Art Gallery said she had received great feedback about the sessions.
“We’ve had local people come and we’ve also had people here on holidays,” she said.
“Parents have loved it. Kids have loved it.
“It’s something different to the usual school holiday activity.”
Miss Broomfield said the sessions were so popular that she had to turn people back so that sessions weren’t overcrowded.
She said people that had been turned away had come back another day to enjoy an art session.
