So it’s hardly surprising that kids of all ages are loving being entertained at Beachfest activities around the city with activities ranging from surf lessons to nature walks, tunes in the dunes, beach volleyball and cricket, SingStar karaoke, artists and residence and more.
Beachcombers-in-the-making dig the beach and literally did so on Thursday with professional sand sculptors on hand to teach kids how to build awesome sandcastles and more at McGennans Beach.
And keeping the construction theme going, swarms of budding designers, makers, creators and city planners took to the Warrnambool Art Gallery for the National Gallery of Victoria Kids on Tour program where they could transform into a creature, fly through the sky, or travel through infinite worlds.
