The Bulldogs added to their envious premiership collection on Sunday, scoring a seven-wicket win over Killarney in the twenty20 decider.
The Paddy Mahony-captained outfit will now represent the association in the regional Sungold Cup, which will include eight sides.
Mahony paid tribute to man-of-the-match Daniel Meade, who made 77 runs in the Bulldogs’ run chase.
A 59 from James Cole helped Killarney post 7-147 off its allotted overs.
But Meade’s effort, which came off just 36 balls, guided Panmure home with three overs to spare at Killarney Recreation Reserve.
“He batted a treat, hit the bad ball and ran really well between the wickets and he really set us up,” Mahony said.
The GCA, which prides itself on making its twenty20 finals triple-header an entertainment-filled day, awarded prizemoney to its four semi-finalists, which included Grassmere and Mailors Flat.
Mahony said the prizes gave the small country clubs a boost.
“Every final you get in, you want to win. It’s a good bit of cash for the cricket club, cash can be hard to come by,” he said.
Grassmere’s Braden Hotker was named player of the tournament, which was played over two days.
The Meerkats all-rounder made 58 against Wangoom, blasted 121 against Panmure and chipped in with 35 against the Crabs in the semi-final.
