A Warrnambool man has been remanded in custody after allegedly attempting to steal a toaster from a caravan park.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Bec Miles said the 36-year-old man was arrested about 9pm on Tuesday.
“There have been ongoing issues with the offender loitering in the caravan park foreshore area and he was recently bailed with the condition he not attend the Surfside caravan park,” she said.
“He attended the park again last night and attempted to steal a toaster from the kitchen area.”
The man was charged with attempted theft, breaching bail and public nuisance offences.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
