Three division one-winning entries have been sold in Warrnambool with the prizemoney totalling more than $4 million.
Reinheimers Newsagency and Lotto on Koroit Street sold two of those winning tickets.
A man from Warrnambool won on March 3 but didn’t realise until 11 days later.
His winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card so Tatts officials had no way of contacting him and had to wait until he contacted them to claim his prize.
A woman from Warrnambool was also successful on June 30.
Store manager Michele Sandland said the two winning tickets had come from Saturday draws.
“It’s been fantastic for the shop, very exciting,” she said.
Ms Sandland said there were more customers coming to try their luck as a result of the store’s good fortune.
In September a mystery person won $1 million at Norfolk Lotto on Raglan Parade.
To win the division one Saturday Lotto you need to have all six winning numbers.
The odds of winning based on one standard game are about eight million to one.
Only more division one-winning entries were sold in the north Melbourne suburb of Preston which sold four winners totalling more than $5 million dollars in prizemoney.
