FRIDAY
Carols: Cobden is set to host Christmas on Curdie from 5pm to 8pm on Friday. Curdies Street will be closed to traffic between Victoria Street and Walker Street from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

SATURDAY
Emergency: The South West Emergency Services Capability Forum will include a community event to be held at Lake Pertobe from 12 noon on Saturday until 3pm. Talk to emergency services about what you can do to help reduce risk.
Art: The Warrnambool Art Gallery is hosting an artist floor talk on Saturday. Join exhibiting artist Tricia Page as she discusses the themes, processes and motivations behind her solo show Adaption. The event will run from 1pm to 2pm and follow with light refreshments.
Row: Beginners, experienced and first-time rowers aged over 12 years can learn to row for fitness, social or competitive on the Hopkins River by joining the City of Warrnambool Rowing Club on Saturday from 8.30am.
Music: Organisers of ‘The Blood and Bones and Fins and Glory’ event are promising an evening of community, food, shanties and song. Sea Shanties from 6.30pm followed by BYO dinner,drinks,picnic at 7pm with main performance commencing at 7.30 pm at the Terang Civic Hall.
Speedway: Allansford Speedway is hosting the fourth annual Max’s Race in honour of Max Dumesny on Saturday. Darren Mollenoyux make be battling to make it back to back wins with other entries hoping to crown a new Champion. A field of sprintcars and late models will race from 5pm in a pre-Christmas Speedway event. Public gates open at 4pm.

SUNDAY
Trains: The Cobden Miniature Railway is open on Sunday. Featuring miniature train rides, 18-hole mini golf, a canteen, children's playground and barbecue facilities from 11am to 4pm.
Markets: The Fresh Market is on at Lake Pertobe on Sunday. Fresh produce, gift ideas, coffee, food, music and plants will help with Christmas lists from 9am to 1pm.
Country: Warrnambool District Country Music Group are hosting their final event for the year. Guest artist Vanessa Waara will perform at the City Memorial Bowls Club on Cramer Street from 1pm to 4.30pm.
Hike: For those wanting to burn off some energy before the Christmas feasts begin, Mount Elephant in Derrinalum is open to the public from 1pm - 4pm. The 2km walk to the top of the crater offers walkers 360 degree views over the region.

Sing: The Combined Churches of Warrnambool are presenting Carols on the Green for the Warrnambool community from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Terang: Terang's annual Gala Night will see the High Street filled with music,street stalls, competitions, music and Santa from 5pm – 9pm.
Sunday Dec 23
Markets: The Christmas Market is offering last-minute shoppers a chance to stock on goodies with food, art and craft, coffee and gift ideas on offer at Warrnambool’s Civic Green from 9am to 1pm.
Crossley: Friends of St Brigid’s Association are hosting a community Christmas Carols event at its Crossley venue on Sunday, December 23, featuring a barbecue or BYO picnic from 6pm, carols from 7.30pm.
Tuesday Dec 25
Christmas: The Annual Community Christmas Day lunch will be held at Warrnambool’s St Joseph’s Parish Hall on Lava Street from 12 noon to 1.30pm.
