Marathon runner Moloney, who represented Australia at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games earlier this year, was one of 43 people to share in the $1 million AMP Tomorrow Fund.
She will use the funds to help with training and equipment as she eyes an international competition schedule.
AMP Tomorrow Fund recipients, known at Tomorrow Makers, are from a range of fields including science, social innovation, education, the arts, technology and sport.
“The diversity of this year’s Tomorrow Makers once again demonstrates the talent and innovation that exists in our community,” Head of the AMP Foundation Helen Liondos said.
“The beauty of the Tomorrow Fund is that the funds can be used for a range of things to help people achieve their goal, whether it’s a vital piece of equipment, training or travel.
“That flexibility can foster agility and innovation.”
