The annual event, now in its 22nd year, will fill Dennington’s GG Payne Reserve with Christmas cheer from 6pm.
President of the Dennington Community Association John Harris said there would hopefully be nothing to dampen this year’s enthusiasm.
“The weather is looking great this year,” he said.
“We have several schools, the Salvation Army band and Holiday Actors all performing three carols each.
“Combined with an array of stalls, raffles, coffee vans and a food court and I think we’re ready for a great community event that a lot of people look forward to each year.
“It’s time to warm up those vocal chords.”
Mr Harris said a gold coin entry would go to Standing Tall, this year’s chosen charity.
