The Replenish The Planet Festival will be held at the Koroit Botanic Gardens.
Organiser Tina Stubbs said the November 16 event was about creating change. “It’s an educational festival on learning to live more sustainably and gain a better environmental awareness,” Ms Stubbs said. “I want my grandchildren to live in a better world. We’ve got to stop littering and start thinking.”
She said there would be a range of exhibitors, demonstrations, workshops and beautiful organic food. People can then explore the shire’s sustainable homes and gardens on Sunday, November 17.
The festival received a cash boost through the Moyne Shire’s Festival and Events Fund. Chief executive Bill Millard said it was the first of its kind in the shire and would help to educate the region’s residents. Interested exhibitors or community members with ideas can contact Tina on 5568 1240.
