The Warrnambool and District Cricket Association (WDCA) has announced its under 14 and 16 teams to take on the Mount Gambier Cricket Association in the annual Cross Border Challenge.
The under 16 game will be 50 overs and played on the Avery’s Paddock turf wicket. The under 14 game will be played on the hard wicket at JJ Colledge Oval, with 40 overs for each team.
The WDCA teams:
Under 16: Theo Opperman (Merrivale), Fletcher Cozens, Matthew Sinnott (Koroit), Joe Nyikos, Jonah Bowles (West Warrnambool), Xavier Kiensrod (Russells Creek), Ben Conboy, Wil Hinkley (Nestles), Bailey Smith, Jack Surkitt, (Allansford), Max Green (Port Fairy), Walker Owen (Wesley-CBC), Tiger Murphy (Dennington), Jason Mungean (coach).
Under 14: Will Fogarty (Dennington), Darcy Bourke, Blake Rouse, (Wesley CBC), Connor McDonald, Tighe Langdon, Finn O’Sullivan (Koroit), Henry Rhodes, Danelle Perera, Xavier Gercovich (Brierly-Christ Church), Flynn Gleeson( Allansford), Joe Douglas, Paddy Gleeson (Merrivale), Sam Slattery (Woodford),Jamie Fogarty (coach).
