Police continue to call for more vigilance after another vehicle theft in the region overnight.
Warrnambool police Sergeant Rob McKellar said a vehicle was stolen from the vicinity of Warrnambool's Ponting Drive between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
He said investigations were ongoing.
He said there had been a number of motor vehicle thefts, as well as thefts from motor vehicles, across the region in the past few weeks.
"We've had a few stolen from out of town and another one in Warrnambool just this morning," Sergeant McKellar said.
"It's disappointing, especially at this time of year. People need to ensure they lock up their cars, take away their keys and don't leave them in the ignition.
"We can't stress enough the importance of securing your vehicles."
