The Tigers welcome back 2017 club best and fairest winner Letham Robe along with former senior player Josh Keilor and talented Koroit teenager Angus Campbell.
Rowan, who will lead the club for a third season, said the signings had injected further excitement.
"We had our first (training) night Monday and we left very positive. We had great numbers and there was a great feeling around the joint,” he said.
"What I keep saying is that the list is there and we don't have to keep going out and target recruit after recruit.
"We have a great young group of under 18s who are keen to have a crack at senior footy and there are probably six or eight in that group that are truly up to playing senior footy.
"We have a great list and great bunch of talented blokes, it’s just a matter of them all buying in and investing into what our plans are, that will go a long way to success next year.”
The Merrivale coach said Robe, who spent the year travelling overseas, was “exactly what we need”.
"To secure him is huge for us and for our midfield rotations,” he said.
"He is tough, in and under and you have got no dramas with him finding his own footy and he just brings a lot of enthusiasm to the group.
"I can still remember one game where we were 10 or so goals up and he was still enthusiastic and up and about where it is easy to just go through the motions.”
Rowan said he was also excited by the addition of Keilor and Campbell.
“Keilor is very versatile who can play tall or small in our back six or a speedy wingman with a big tank,” he said.
“He is also a great leader and great bloke to have around the group.
"And Angus is really close with a lot of the boys down at the club and is going to be a great player for us.
“And he will also be able to go through our midfield rotations as another tough in and under player that will win his own ball or play on our wings.”
