Port Fairy’s Blarney Books and Art is hoping to create a league of new writers on the weekend as it hosts two new authors.
From the Wreck author Jane Rawson and Annabel Smith, author of Whiskey Charlie Foxtrot, will be presenting ‘What to Expect when you’re Expecting a Novel’ on Friday, November 23 from 7.30pm.
The pair will use the hour-long session to discuss the pleasures and pitfalls of writing a novel.
Both acclaimed Australian authors with several books in their repertoire, Ms Smith and Ms Rawson are set to offer tips and tricks on writing to the region’s upcoming authors.
On Saturday Ms Smith is conducting a workshop about overcoming procrastination for creatives at the literary base on Sackville Street from 10am to 1pm.
