A Portland man who twice failed to appear in court over theft and other offences was arrested on Monday and will appear in court today.

Police said the man aged in his 40s was arrested at a Portland address and lodged in the police cells.
He was wanted on an outstanding matter relating to a criminal damage offence.
He has also failed to appear in court on two occasions for matters involving a breach of a family violence intervention order, shop theft and offences against the bail act.
He is expected to face Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
