The Bulls were heavily defeated by Mount Gambier Knights 42-26 at Naracoorte on Saturday.
With just two games left in the regular season, Horsham Panthers away and then the Naracoorte Jets at home, Da Ros believes the top-of-the-table Bulls can get back on track.
“We just have to knuckle down and look at what we did wrong and we didn’t do too much wrong,” he said.
“We have to be on our toes (against the Panthers) and when you are on top of the table everyone wants to beat and you really have to try and stay ahead of the pack.”
Da Ros highlighted a fixtured bye, injuries and unavailability as a small reason for the loss but was quick to admit his side can get its best team on the park for the run towards the club’s first final series in its inaugural season.
The Warrnambool Raiders, who sit just behind their cross-town rivals in second, had a bye last weekend and return to the field against the Knights on Saturday.
