The Seahawks are 0-5 to start the Country Basketball League season but Noter isn’t taking notice of the record but more on trying to improve his side.
“It is still a learning curve for them and we have a good test this week, as we are short on numbers again but it gives them extra court time,” he said.
“We just have to try and execute our plays a bit better and have they have to just have the confidence in themselves.
“Each of the individuals being able to recognise what is happening on the court and its that communication and they aren’t used to playing with a shot clock.
“They don’t have the awareness with that yet and we have to talk a bit more on the bench.”
Warrnambool enters a double-header against Bacchus Marsh at the Arc on Saturday night and Geelong away on Sunday with little tweaks the key for the Seahawks.
The Mermaids, who are also 0-5, will travel with the men to Geelong their only game of the round.
