Powercor is reporting 70 customers are currently without power following the fault on Warrnambool’s Whites Road on Friday morning.
Power is estimated to be restored by 8.30am.
The outage comes one week after a bird brought down a live wire on the Noorat-Framlingham Road, impacting about 344 customers.
That fault happened just metres from where the Garvoc fire was started on St Patrick's Day earlier this year when a power pole in a paddock snapped in high winds.
Fallen lines on that occasion sparked a fire that destroyed property and stock.
