One car was stolen and three vehicles had items stolen from them in a spate of car offences in Colac overnight into Wednesday morning.

Senior Constable Toby Cameron of Colac police said a 1997 Subaru wagon was stolen from Jennings Street about 2am on Wednesday morning and later recovered nearby at the Western Oval.
In other car offences overnight to Wednesday in Colac, three vehicles had items stolen from them.
Senior Constable Cameron said a handbag with about $500 cash was stolen from a BMW parked at the Mid City Motor Inn, keys and personal cards were taken from a Hyundai sedan in Skene Street and a wallet was taken from a Hilux in Nelson Street.
He said anyone with information about the offences should contact Colac police station on 5232 8200 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
