Youth: Warrnambool musician Flynn Gurry is launching his latest EP at the Mozart Hall from 6pm.

Shooting: Sporting Clays Australia are hosting the Australian Sporting Clay Nationals in Laang from Friday to Sunday. Over 350 shooters from across the country competing in the event.
Floral art: The 19th annual Our Lady Help of Christians Rose Show will be held at the church hall in East Warrnambool Friday noon to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
SATURDAY
Show: Noorat is expecting a record crowd for its annual show on Saturday with an array of attractions on offer. The dog high jump and dodgem cars are among the mix. Children's entertainment group The Kazoos will also be there. Gates open at 8:30 and close at 5pm.
Dunkeld Races: The much-loved annual cup meet is back and about 10,000 people are expected to attend. There will be free kids activities, live entertainment and fashions on the field. Gates open at 11am at Dunkeld Racing Club.
Parkrun: The popular fun run at Lake Pertobe adventure park celebrates two years since its first event. Participants are invited to enjoy coffee after their exercise. Run, walk or volunteer from 8am.
Illowa: Hundreds are expected to gather at the Illowa Hall for a reunion to celebrate the history of its two former schools. Illowa State School opened 160 years ago and St. Columba's School opened in 1918. Both schools co-existed until their closure 1968. The event starts at 11am.
Open Day: An open day will be held at CO2CRC’s Otway National Research Facility from 10.30am to 3pm. The facility is located in Brumby’s Lane, Nirranda South. The annual event will show how carbon dioxide can be safely stored geologically to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industry and power generation.
Artist: The Warrnambool Art Gallery is hosting an artist floor talk with Lisa Jansen from 12 noon to 1pm.
Gamers: Computer gamers are in for a treat this weekend with the ‘Lan of the Damned’ event. It starts at 10am on Saturday and finishes at 10am on Sunday. The event will be held in the Brauer College Theatre.
BMX: Warrnambool BMX Club worked tirelessly to get the Jetty Flat complex ready for this three-day event with main racing Saturday and Sunday. It's a big coup for the community to host the event and more than 1000 of Australia's best riders will tear around the track.
Music: The Loft is hosting a Songwriters Showcase from 1pm to 5pm.

SUNDAY
Mortlake: An open House and Garden Day event in Mortlake will welcome visitors to an historic property between 10am and 4pm on Sunday. The event is run in conjunction with Warrnambool’s Daybreak Rotary and is a fundraiser for drought relief. Activities will include plant sales, auctions, wood-turning and chalk-painting demonstrations, Christmas ideas as well as morning and afternoon tea. The address is 29 Officer Street Mortlake.

WEDNESDAY
Gardens: Warrnambool Community Market are hosting The Garden Market from 3pm to 7pm. The inaugural free event will be held every week at the corner of Grieve Street and Grafton Road until May 2019.
THURSDAY
Gig: John Hudson Guest Session, Hotel Warrnambool, 8pm.
Film: The Warrnambool Eisteddfod is hosting a film fundraiser at the Capitol Cinema. Widows will screen from 6pm.
