A Warrnambool motorist was more than twice the legal blood alcohol limit when he crashed into a family of five, a court was told.

Kristoffer Brown, 28, of Verdon Street, pleaded guilty to careless driving and drink driving.
He was fined $450 and his licence was disqualified for 12 months.
On May 30 Brown was travelling in the service lane of Warrnambool’s Mortlake Road about 6.30pm.
He passed the Warrnambool fire station and turned onto Mortlake Road but did not give way.
His Holden Commodore station wagon collided with a Mitsubishi Challenger travelling north.
The victims were a family of five, including three children aged 12, seven and three.
Police said the roads were very wet but the cars collided at low speed.
The Mitsubishi Challenger was towed. No-one was injured.
At 7.35pm Brown recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.128.
