A 24-year-old Warrnambool man has lost his licence for two years after he refused a breath test because he “had things to do”.

Nicholas Clarke, of Glasgow Street, pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle, failing to display P plates and two counts of refusing to accompany police for the purpose of a breath test.
He was convicted and fined $750 and his licence was disqualified for two years.
On June 18, 2015, Clarke was driving an unregistered blue Mitsubishi ute south on Warrnambool’s Glasgow Street.
He was asked to accompany police to the station for a breath test but he refused, stating he had things to do.
Two days later he was intercepted travelling east on the Princes Highway near Caramut Road at 11.25am.
He did not have a P plate displayed on the rear window of his vehicle and again refused to undergo a breath test.
