Show secretary Julie Houlihan said entries in the agricultural section were the strongest in the district.
“Competitors have come from all over Victoria to compete here today,” she said.
“It’s been a fantastic day.”
Mrs Houlihan said the Irish township had been blessed by the weather and community support.
“The sun was shining, there were heaps through the gates and they stayed all day,” she said.
“The free games on the arena were popular and there was always a line-up at the food court.”
